Supporting our Local Farms by Rounding up at The Barn in Sisters

At The Barn, supporting local farms is something we believe in year-round - because local agriculture keeps us connected to the land, the seasons, and the community that makes Central Oregon such a special place to live.

If you’ve ordered at The Barn lately, you may have noticed a small but mighty option at checkout: round up your total to support Seed-To-Table Farm.

It’s simple. You round up your tab. The change goes straight to supporting an organization that’s doing real, hands-in-the-soil work right here in our community.

We’re proud to partner with Seed to Table, a Sisters-based nonprofit farm and educational space dedicated to growing food, growing farmers, and growing access. They provide farm-based education for kids, hands-on learning for teens, and meaningful job training opportunities. They also work to increase access to fresh, local food for families across Central Oregon.

This work matters, especially here.

Seed to Table isn’t just planting vegetables. They’re cultivating food literacy, confidence, and connection to the land. They’re giving young people a place to learn tangible skills. They’re strengthening our regional food system in a way that feels practical, grounded, and community-driven.

Right now, they need us.

A major grant that had been awarded to the farm was unexpectedly pulled, leaving a significant funding gap. For a small nonprofit doing essential local work, that kind of loss hits hard.

So through the entire month of March, we’re continuing our Round-Up for Seed to Table initiative at The Barn. Every time you say “yes” to rounding up your order, you’re directly helping bridge that gap.

No big gala. No complicated campaign.Just neighbors supporting neighbors.

If you’ve ever felt grateful for local farms, for kids learning where food comes from, for stronger community roots — this is one easy way to show it.

We will end the option to round up your tab at the end of March. Let’s show Seed to Table the love they deserve.

See you at The Barn,

The Barn Team
