Have you experiences the new art exhibit with Sloane Earl & Brad Earl at The Barn?
This season at The Barn in Sisters, we welcome artists Sloane Earl and Brad Earl, whose work - shaped by imagination, memory, and craft - now lives together on our walls until the end of March.

Sloane Earl
Sloane Earl is a dreamer. From an early age, she has been daydreaming about other worlds and the secret creatures of the forest, a curiosity that continues to shape her work today. While encouraged in her creativity by her father, artist Brad Earl, since the age of three, Sloane forged her own artistic path—studying fine art and later working professionally in the video game industry before returning to painting. Her love of fantasy and sci-fi art is woven throughout her work, blending imagination with technical skill and storytelling.
Brad Earl
Brad Earl came to painting after a long career in architecture, where decades spent designing spaces sharpened his eye for form, balance, and story. Encouraged by his wife and daughter in 1996, he turned fully toward the canvas, a practice that has continued ever since. Now painting in Sisters, Oregon, Brad is drawn to places and objects shaped by time—old theaters, roadside diners, iconic buildings, and well-used tools, cameras, and motorcycles. His work carries a quiet reverence for craftsmanship and memory, capturing the poetry found in familiar structures and the lives they’ve held.

A Shared Creative Legacy
Together, Sloane and Brad Earl represent two distinct artistic voices connected by family, place, and a lifelong commitment to creativity. Their work reflects both imagination and structure, fantasy and nostalgia, innovation and tradition. Seeing their art side by side is a reminder of how creative passion can evolve across generations while remaining deeply rooted in community.
Sisters may still miss The Flying Horse Gallery, once operated by Sloane alongside her mother and father, but it feels especially meaningful to see the Earls’ work shared together again. We’re thrilled to welcome Sloane and Brad’s art to The Barn walls, reconnecting the community with that creative legacy.
We invite you to visit The Barn, spend time with their work, and experience the stories, worlds, and memories they bring to life through paint.
The Barn in Sisters will be closed next Tuesday.
The Barn in Sisters will be closed next Tuesday, February 10th, as we take a moment to celebrate the incredible people who make this place so special at our annual staff party. Our team works hard year-round to create the warm, welcoming experience you know and love, and this is our chance to show them some well-deserved appreciation. We’ll be back to serving you with full hearts and full plates when we reopen on Wednesday at 11 AM with our regular hours.
