Our Story

The Barn in Sisters was built in 2021 with a lot of creativity, elbows working side by side, patience, humility and family coming together.

We offer indoor and outdoor seating spaces, alternating craft brew taps, natural wines and craft cocktails. Our Barn Kitchen and partner food trucks will bring you a selection of classic soul filling foods with vegetarian and vegan options.

We don't have tv's, we do have private nooks and long table spaces, we do have sculptures and art everywhere, we do bring music and a family friendly atmosphere, we'll be feeling invited and part of our community that loves the outdoors and art in all of its forms.

Meet the Team

The Barn is beyond a simple tap house and food cart lot. We share our excitement about food and drinks, built around a team of award winning artisans and culinary experts. From our in-house Barn Kitchen to Boone Dog Pizza and all of the beverage selections, quality, organic, local grown are all of the priorities that we share with our customers.

Founder & CEO

Danny St.Lawrence

Danny started making bread years ago and was behind the planning stages at Jacksons Corner's first bread program. Danny and his wife Kelly started and founded Boone Dog Wood Fired Pizza and then grew into building The Barn 4 years later.

Philosophy: Connect people with foods! Local first mindset and take time to enjoy people you are with.

General Manager

Shawn Smith

Shawn has been roaming the food, beverage and hospitality industry since he was a troubled young lad. He loves everything about quality, revels in teamwork and helping build foundations that work long term.

Philosophy: Ride your bike, eat well, laugh and dance often... work hard... repeat. And a bit of extra time with a fishing pole or traveling to let your mind settle is a win too.

Head Chef / Barn Kitchen Manager

Jacob Rodriguez

Jacob brings all of the culinary excellence that you FEEL in our foods! Creating main recipes, building long table dinners, pairing beer, wine, small plates to pallette WOWs! He brings the love of classic French roots and layering his years of experience to bring each plate something special - utilizing fresh ingredients in so many ways, you'll never get tired of an overabundance, as its prepared in so many ways!

Philosophy: Bring joy to the table, to your group. See folks feel hosted and diving in and letting their chef take them on a journey. Be free - be community.

Front of House Manager

Baker / Bread Artisan

Taylor Nause

Taylor started his early mornings at Jackson's Corner baking up fresh artisan breads years ago. He's been building experience and sells out each week there's an opportunity to offer fresh sourdough bread, cooked in our wood fired oven. Not to mention rolling out countless dough balls and baking fresh rolls / buns for our other services each day!

Philosophy: Watch tennis, mountain bike, climb a little and get to bed early in order to catch the over while its still hot before the sun rises!

Kitchen All-Round

Nick Campbell

Nick grew up on natural farms before 'organic' was a thing. Naturally treating environments with compost and non-till was just how you worked the land responsibly. He has been taking on cooking food just as long - making great foods in various kitchen styles for decades. Knowing local farms and always excited about different flavors from around the world are what keep Nick's excitement and creativity going.
