What's Gremolata? Here's the Recipe

There’s a few questions we get often at Boone Dog Pizza. Like, how big are your pizzas? Or what’s gremolata? If you’ve sampled our Special Pepperoni Pizza, then you’ve tasted our zesty gremolata.

Gremolata is an Italian garnish made of parsley, garlic, and lemon. It’s a nice way to brighten any dish with a fresh green finish. Use it on meats or grilled veggies, tossed in a salad, sprinkled over pasta, or dusted on a soup. It’s so simple yet adds so much pep and flavor. Enjoy!

Gremolata Recipe

4 cloves minced garlic (check out Deschutes Canyon Garlic)

1/2 tsp chili flakes

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/8 cup red wine vinegar

Juice & zest of 1 lemon

1.5 bunches chopped parsley (check out Agricultural Connections)

Mix together and top your favorite meats, veggies, pastas, salads, or soups.
