Boone Dog Pizza is a mobile wood fired kitchen dedicated to sourcing the freshest produce, humanely raised meats, and artisan cheeses that central Oregon has to offer. We take great care to keep our offerings simple and seasonal.
With overwhelming support - Danny and his family, expanding on their pizza cart, built The Barn In Sisters and
continue to share their passion for quality food, gathering with friends and community.
Behind the pizza
Danny's road to Boone Dog started in the small town of Prescott, Arizona. Close to his Alma Mater, he got his introduction to bread and baking working at a health focused cafe. Having recently returned from exploring naturopathic medicine, Danny wanted to explore new avenues of health and community. He immediately took to baking, inspired by the simplistic alchemy and rich heritage, the art of bread gave him a focus for exploration. Before too long he began his own baking projects working for Prescott College's Organic Cafe. The focus on local and pesticide free ingredients continue to peak his interest and stoke momentum in his craft.
In 2017 Boone Dog Pizza Cart was born, inhabiting farmers markets and catering events in the area. Emboldened by his father's entrepreneurial spirit, ready to weather first years of restaurant ownership, he looked for a more permanent home and parked the cart in Sisters. The first winters certainly had their slow days, but year after year the line grew. The community support and appetite helped achieved what became a social and nourishing
hub in the area.

Now with The Barn open and thriving - Boone Dog Pizza is the cornerstone, still owned by Danny and family. The wood fired oven continues to be the heart and inspiration of our cooking. Using vibrant farm fresh ingredients, from the earth and into the fire, we hope to create a culinary experience that satisfies the senses
and nourishes the body.
